FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ergotron Participates in HIMSS Virtual Conference and Expo

ST. PAUL, MN, April 22, 2008

Ergotron invites the Healthcare IT vendor community to attend the upcoming HIMSS Virtual Conference and Expo, Wednesday April 23 and Thursday April 24 at www.himssvirtual.org. Numerous Ergotron Healthcare experts will be on hand “round the clock” to answer any questions attendees may have on how to best deploy Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Attendees will get a chance to learn how Ergotron’s StyleView Carts, Vertical Lifts, and HD Combo Arms are designed to ensure the caregiving staff can easily keep focus on the patient, while entering important data into an EMR system. Additionally, attendees to the Virtual Conference are invited to download a copy of Ergotron’s paper Patientricity™ and the Triangle of Care: The Partnership. The paper highlights the critical concept of Ergotron’s triangle of care, which ensures patients, caregivers, and technology are unified to improve the patient experience.

“We know that nurses want ways to take better care of their patients,” explained Steve Reinecke, Director of Global Healthcare Sales for Ergotron. “The overwhelming technical challenges when rolling out EMR deployments have inadvertently shifted focus on the technical how, instead of the what, that we, together with doctors and nursing staff, are trying to achieve. Ergotron is putting the patient at the forefront, making sure the patient is the center of the triangle of care, in spite of all the IT technology that surrounds them.”

The HIMSS Virtual Conference and Expo is a fully interactive event that incorporates learning, live chat, demonstrations and more. With over 1,300 attendees registered to date, the event allows participants to interact with Ergotron staff without ever leaving the office. Ergotron’s portfolio of mounting and mobility products offer caregivers a wide variety of workflow and space saving options to consider in the early planning phases IT implementation. Each product is specifically designed to ensure the wellness of the caregiver is not compromised during their daily routine, while at the same time enhancing the patient experience.
