ST. PAUL, MN April 14, 2008
Attendees of the China Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) will be the first to meet Ergotron’s fourth-generation non-powered StyleView® 31, point-of-care computing cart in booth D06, April 18-21 in Shenzhen, China. “Unveiling our new StyleView at CMEF, one of the largest events serving China’s medical device market, gives us the opportunity to demonstrate to China’s healthcare professionals that Ergotron is committed to providing innovative solutions to meet their point-of-care needs,” said Steve Reinecke, Global Director of Healthcare Sales for Ergotron. “This next generation cart is the direct result of over fifteen years of serving the healthcare market and the strong relationships we’ve built with both leading healthcare facilities like the National Healthcare Group of Singapore, and with leading healthcare IT hardware providers Dell, HP, Intel, Lenovo, NEC, Panasonic, and Philips.”
StyleView’s design leverages Ergotron’s legacy of designing award-winning products that are unmatched in the industry. Manufactured in Ergotron’s world-class Dongguan factory, this cart offers the most standard features making it a lean, clean, smart choice for healthcare nursing staff, doctors, procurement, and IT professionals.
LEAN: The cart’s lighter frame, smaller footprint, and new casters, help it glide across hard and carpeted flooring. Responding effortlessly to a caregivers’ touch, the cart moves easily to the most space constrained patient rooms.
CLEAN: The new StyleView carts also exceed strict RoHS and WEEE environmental standards for the safety and well being of the global healthcare community. The feature-rich cart provides an enclosed, ventilated compartment which keeps computer equipment clean, secure and cooled; and an external, ready-on button which awakens an enclosed computer from hibernation mode, facilitating easy compliance with EnergyStar 4.0 guidelines.
SMART: The StyleView 31 now boasts an integrated cable management system, side-to-side monitor “pan” capability, and an ergonomic negative-tilt, slide-out keyboard tray—which lights for nighttime usage.
“We’ve really crystallized our role in the Healthcare community,” explained Joel Hazzard, President and CEO of Ergotron. “Certainly, the StyleView carts are the new stars in our point-of-care portfolio. We understand that what hospitals really need are collaboration partners, who can help them assess how to best achieve the goal of improved patient care by offering a portfolio of mounting and mobility choices to support EMR and other point-of-care applications.”
StyleView and Ergotron’s full portfolio of point-of-care mounting products ensures users’ wellness is enhanced, workflow productivity is realized and process efficiencies are optimized in space constrained healthcare facilities. The new StyleView31 replaces StyleView21; the powered StyleView 22 will continue to be available in select countries throughout the region. The new StyleView Carts will be shipping in late Q2 through the following network of distribution partners:
