Joe Coughlin

Chief Financial Officer

With more than 30 years of C-level experience, Joe has been Ergotron’s executive vice president and CFO since 2019. In this role, Joe leads the global finance organization and is responsible for overall financial strategy, including long-range business planning.

Joe began his career at RSM as a certified public accountant providing assurance and consulting services. For the following 20 years, he served as EVP & CFO for two multi-national manufacturers.

Throughout his career, Joe’s roles have included responsibility for almost every area of the business, giving him a unique ability to partner with team members to transform companies and achieve long-term value creation.

Joe and his wife, Shannon, live in Maple Grove, Minnesota, and they have three adult children. Joe’s volunteer efforts have included serving on the boards for JDRF’s Minnesota Chapter and for high school girls’ lacrosse, as well as coaching various youth sports for 25+ years. In his free time, Joe can be found participating in a variety of sports, reading non-fiction, and spending time with family and friends at the lake.
