Your workspace looks well organized.

You’re being exposed to unnecessary physical stresses.
Numbers in the diagram correspond to your answers and the following remedies.

Remedies

  1. Position the top of the screen at or slightly below eye level and tilt it back 10–20°. If using bifocals, lower to roughly chin level and tilt it back 30–40°.
  2. Move your display so it’s 20–30" or 50–75 cm from eyes; with bifocals, it should be roughly 16" or 40 cm away.
  3. Place your keyboard at elbow height; tilt it back roughly 10°. Use a rest to support wrists.
  4. Place your keyboard at elbow height; keep your chest open and wide.
  5. Adjust chair height so feet rest on floor while maintaining a 90–120° angle at hips.
  6. Periodically reposition your monitor, keyboard and chair to stay flexible; install mounts that offer adjustment capability.
  7. To reduce sedentary behavior, stand periodically during your work routine. A workstation with sit-stand adjustment can help.
