Position Summary

The Supply Chain planner takes care of the European inventories, ensures that standard leadtimes can be met at all times, and that stock levels are improved. In addition, the planner is responsible for the replenishment of the European inventory and ensures that promissed ship dates are met at all times.
Position Responsibilities include:
Analyse, report on and proactively work to improve inventory positions by implementing new processes or improvement of supply chain management. Constantly monitor, and where necessary, pro-actively work to improve on-time delivery of sales orders where material constraints occur and proposes corrective actions. Ensure and constantly improve the monthly planning cycle using best business practices and statistical analyses. Continuously improve and manage the European replenishment from the Global Headquarters as well as external suppliers through intensive contacts, relationship management, and additional processes. Maintain intensive contacts with the warehouse management on stock accuracy and ensure constant reconciliation between administrative and physical stock positions. Collect accurate EU item data on ABC classification, ATP rules, safety stock levels etc. and maintains the Oracle EU item database on frequently bases. All tasks and duties will be performed with the best quality and costs. The planner performs other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications

HBO or more than 3 years experience on material planning. Fluent in English. Analytical skills. Extremely flexible and able to work in a complex, fast changing environment. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing. An ability to think clearly, takes initiative, and work independently as well as in a team. Working competence with Personal Computers including MS/Windows, MS/Excel, and/or MS/Word. Working understanding of Oracle preferred. International shipping experience.
