Program Manager (EMEA)

Amersfoort, the Netherlands

Position Summary

The Program Manager will drive sales operational excellence; identify, assess and implement processes for the business unit accounts that result in greater performance results; and help develop successful operational tools. Key tasks include maintenance of current sales levels and profitability and leverage new growth and assistance in the development of a sales and marketing collaborative opertional excellence model. Also responsible for reviewing and analyzing information and assist in the development of new business initiatives. The Program Manager assists in preparation of Ergotron's business development plan with our targeted customers to ensure successful brand recognition/positioning strategies that will successfully align with corporate sales and marketing initiatives.
Position Responsibilities include: Create and maintain account team documentation of account plan including sales performance, action items, account profile, marketing activities, and goals for review by Channel Management and Executive Teams. Create, negotiate, and manage account-focused volume incented rebate program. Research and provide special pricing on specific sales programs as part of Ergotron's bid desk. Quarterly review and clean up of account SKUs. Weekly review of distributor on hand for continuing inventory recommendations. Identify unique and important customer insights that lead to the development of services that will deliver solutions to important customer challenges. Collaborate with, and transfer knowledge to, product managers and market managers about customer and market needs. Manage data collection for sales forecasting, order tracking, and reporting processes. Assist in actively promoting and leveraging Ergotron's marketing efforts for use by commercial partners. Solicit their buy-in to Ergotron's global advertising and direct marketing campaigns, seminars, trade shows and other events. Assist Sales Account Managers with account mangement activities for new and exiting large commercial accounts. Manage and organize internal communications to sales teams for product, pricing, and service updates. Assist in developing commercial business plans, policies, strategies, objectives and tactics. Program development -assist in driving the creation, development and implementation of programs and promotions that commercial accounts can use. Interface with Ergotron sales, corporate marketing and product marketing teams to identify target markets, products and applications and design programs to drive awareness and increase sales. Share knowledge with international counterparts on sales and strategies. Establish collaborative relationships with the Executive Team as a business partner in the diagnosis and resolution of performance and process issues to help meet the Sales and Operating department’s objectives.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications

BS/BA Degree in Business, Sales or other related field. Advanced Degree required. 10-15 years experience in Management, Marketing, or Sales, with an emphasis on Management or equivalent experience. Prior profit-and-loss responsibilities and strong knowledge of the laws, regulations, practices and procedures concerning management of the healthcare industry desired. Demonstrated knowledge of the systematic approach to training (inclusive of assessment, design, development, delivery and evaluation methods). Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office. Understands current technology; Provide recommendation and apply technology to gain leverage over competition. Highly motivated, with passion and enthusiasm, willing to give 3+ strong years of effort to gain presence and a market leading position. Some travel may be required.
