Ergotron Wins “Fast 50” Award for Second Consecutive Year
ST. PAUL, MN, October 20, 2006
Ergotron, the global leader in computer and video display mounting equipment, is proud to announce it is a recipient of Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s “Fast 50” award, given in recognition for Ergotron’s rapid and continuous revenue growth. The award marks the second consecutive time Ergotron has been recognized by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and given an award for outstanding annual business growth from the publication. Additionally, Ergotron recently received a “Rising Star” award from the Global Technology Distribution Council for revenue growth of 180% through Broadline IT distribution from July, 2005 through June, 2006.
Recipients of the “Fast 50” award are privately held companies in Minnesota. Award recipients are determined based on revenue growth collected over a three year period. From 2003 through 2005, Ergotron has seen its annual revenue increase more than $49 million, an upward swing of more than 103% percent. It is this outstanding performance that earned Ergotron a position among the 50 fastest-growing companies for the second consecutive year.
“We’re gratified to be acknowledged by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in Minnesota,” explained Joel Hazzard, President and CEO for Ergotron. “Our growth represents the tremendous hard work and passion our team has across all functions of the business. We’re continually designing, engineering, and selling differentiated products of the highest quality that really do improve people’s lives. And, the better part of the story is, we’re just getting started.”
Ergotron is on track to hit its projected revenue of over $125 million for 2006.
