The new StyleView® VL Enclosure, a secure, complete wall mounted computer workstation designed by Ergotron to maximize data security and maintain patient privacy, is now available for installation in hospitals, medical clinics and other healthcare facilities.
The keyless locking mechanism of the VL Enclosure protects patient data at the point-of-care, facilitating compliance with privacy requirements such as HIPAA while bringing electronic medical records directly to patient rooms. The VL Enclosure wall mount offers 120° side-to-side pan for the computer keyboard and left/right ±5° pan for the display, allowing physicians and nurses to turn toward the bedside to promote better patient-caregiver interaction.
Nine inches of vertical height adjustment for both monitor and keyboard, with a slide-out keyboard tray that extends an extra five inches, adapt the StyleView VL Enclosure system to the physical needs of multiple caregivers working at the same station. The negative-tilt keyboard tray ensures that wrists remain in a neutral position during patient data entry to enhance ergonomic comfort.
