Saint Paul, MN, November 8, 2006
St. Paul-based Ergotron has been awarded the CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) Innovations Honoree Award, given in recognition of excellence in engineering and design, for one of their newest products, the LX Large Display Cart.
Ergotron’s LX Large Display Cart provides flexibility to move a flat-panel display to any audience—transforming any room into a meeting, presentation or education space. This ergonomic, mobile stand is the perfect accessory for videoconferencing, conference rooms, lobbies, offices and other digital signage applications.
“This award reflects the success we have seen with our LX Large Display Cart and our continued success in global leadership,” explained Joel Hazzard, President and CEO of Ergotron. “We’re thrilled to be recognized with this prestigious award.”
The Innovations Honoree Award marks the third time in the last six months that Ergotron has been recognized for outstanding performance. Ergotron recently received the Global Technology Distribution Council’s “Rising Star” award for 180% revenue growth from July 2005 to June 2006, as well as the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s “Fast 50” award, given in recognition of rapid and continuous revenue growth.
The LX Large Display Cart will be on display at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) New York Press Preview on November 8, 2006, booth 38 in New York City in addition to the 2007 International CES, which runs January 8-11, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Innovations Design and Engineering Showcase will feature honorees by product category at Innovations Plus at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Booth #68747. New for 2007: High-Performance Audio (HPA) Innovations Honorees will also be exhibited in The Venetian on the third floor, across from the San Polo Ballroom. Best of Innovations honoree products will also displayed at the Grand Lobby of Las Vegas Convention Center, next to Experience CEA.
