Channel Account Manager MEA
Netherlands (preferred) / UAE
The Channel Account Manager (CAM) will be the primary point of contact for Ergotron’s reseller partners in the MEA region and will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive reseller network. This includes managing existing accounts as well as recruiting and developing new resellers.
Position Responsibilities include:
Achieve annual sales targets for the region and with individual managed partners.
Build, maintain and develop business relationships at all levels within existing Ergotron partners. Use these relationships to increase mind share of Ergotron and to drive cooperation with the Ergotron sales team.
Recruit and grow new partners to ensure sufficient vertical and geographic coverage across the MEA region.
Work closely with all partners and with the Ergotron territory team to support (joint) end user sales activities in the different vertical markets (Healthcare, Education, Corporate Office a.o.)
Develop annual business plans for partner development and recruitment and track progress on an ongoing basis.
Train and educate the partner’s sales & support teams regularly on Ergotron’s sales programs and product innovations. Support the implementation and usage of the programs.
Communicate Ergotron’s value proposition through participation in partner events, driving promotions and programs and assisting in the sales process.
Act as the primary point of contact for the partner and liaise with other functional groups (program management, marketing, finance, services) to ensure optimum partner performance and satisfaction.
Share relevant partner, project, market and competitive information with management and with counterparts in other regions.
Support “Lean Business Enterprise” initiatives for continuous process improvement and waste elimination.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications
Proven track record in IT channel sales, preferably in working for a vendor.
Knowledge of the IT market in the MEA region
Solid understanding of indirect sales models and channel dynamics
Excellent sales, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
High level of energy, proactive, self motivated
