Vice President, Global Marketing
David joined Ergotron in 2018 as Vice President of Global Marketing. He has more than 20 years of B2C and B2B marketing and advertising experience with core competencies in brand development, digital marketing and team leadership. In his role, David is responsible for generating demand for Ergotron’s brands and product lines by using a variety of marketing vehicles across multiple verticals. He sits with the team at Ergotron’s headquarters in St. Paul, Minn.
Throughout his career, David has worked in a variety of roles inside of diverse industries, including higher education and politics. He joined Sapient (now SapientRazorfish), a digital transformation consultancy, early in his career and served in multiple roles across multiple offices. When he moved to Minneapolis, he joined Colle McVoy as their Director of Strategic Growth and helped the agency grow with a focus on B2C clients. He joined space150, an independent digital agency, as President and Chief Strategy Officer where he led the growth strategies for the agency. David also served as President of Peterson Milla Hooks (PMH), a Minneapolis advertising agency, to establish and execute against a growth plan for the agency.
Most recently, David established Tippet Consulting to help clients with go-to-market strategies, sales enablement and/or executive team development through retreat facilitation or one-day outings.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication with a minor in Business from Arizona State University. He lives in St. Louis Park with his wife and two young boys. And if he has time for himself, he enjoys a trip to the trout stream to see what he might catch… and release.
