| Standard Interfaces If your display is VESA MIS-D, MIS-E or MIS-F compliant, it will attach to an Ergotron video display mount. When choosing a monitor, look for VESA Mounting Compliance for ease of attachment to Ergotron products. Ergotron compatibility is predicated on the assumption that displays are fully VESA compliant. Besides the standardized hole pattern dimension, the hole pattern should be centered on a display’s center of gravity. VESA MIS-D, 100/75, C compliant monitors are equipped with either a 100 x 100 mm or 75 x 75 mm mounting hole pattern. A wide variety of Ergotron products attach directly to these monitors. This is the most common interface for monitors weighing under 30 lbs (14 kg). VESA MIS-E, C compliant monitors are equipped with a 200 x 100 mm mounting hole pattern. Mid-size displays may use this interface. Examples of Ergotron products suited for this interface are the NeoFlex HD Wall Mounts. VESA MIS-F, C compliant monitors have varied hole patterns that are spaced in 200 mm increments (e.g., 400 x 200 mm and 600 x 400 mm are VESA MIS-F compliant configurations). Large displays often follow this standard. Products like the Ergotron TM and WM are designed to handle these large displays. Custom Interface Adapters If your monitor does not include a VESA MIS-D, MIS-E or MIS-F hole-mount pattern, a separately-ordered custom adapter interface may be available. Contact the monitor manufacturer to see if they have this option available. If it is not available from the monitor manufacturer, Ergotron has developed a number of custom brackets to interface with existing displays. Use our online Compatible Display Tool or contact Ergotron to see if one is available for your model. |
