Management at Ergotron

Diane M. Kaufman is the Vice President of Human Resources. She’s been a part of the Ergotron team since February of 2004 and brings over 17 years of Human Resources experience to the HR department. Diane’s overall responsibility is to develop strategic HR initiatives that will cultivate a culture of excellence, values and behaviors that attracts, retains and motivates extraordinary talent.

Before joining Ergotron, Diane was the HR Senior Business Partner at Seagate Technology. In this position, she was responsible for project managing HR strategic initiatives launching the first Human Resources Operations review implemented across the United States. She also championed the culture transformation initiative for 3000 people. Diane’s past HR roles have allowed her to develop expert strategic project management skills and a strong ability to manage policies, compensation, performance management, talent development and employee relations.

Diane received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Speech Communications and a minor in Social Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She has also received an Employee Relations Law Certificate from the Institute for Applied Management & Law, Inc. and is continuously attending leadership and business seminars to increase her knowledge.

Besides being a valued member of the Ergotron team, Diane is associated with Multiple Sclerosis Society, Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity and the United Way.

Diane has been married to Jim for over 17 years and they have a lovely daughter Jessica who started kindergarten this year. They live on 11 acres out in the country and enjoy mowing the lawn, gardening, playing games, boating and family time.
