Management at Ergotron

Dan Miller joined Ergotron in October 2004 as Senior Vice President of Operations, as a result of the merger between Ergotron and CFT. He held the same position at CFT. Dan is responsible for all World Wide Quality, Manufacturing, New Product Introduction and Supply Chain and Sourcing activities including Procurement, Assembly, Test, Warehousing, Central Distribution, and Customer Fulfillment Operations with locations in Eagan, MN, Amersfoort Netherlands and Ergotron’s wholly owned subsidiary; Dongguan Ergotron Precision Technology Co. LTD located in Dongguan China.

Mr. Miller’s experience spans 30 years and a wide range of experience with various technology companies in Operations and Marketing. His major company experience includes IBM Corporation, Control Data /Imprimis, and Western Digital Corporation. He has in depth knowledge of Asia outsourcing and manufacturing including a three year stint in Singapore running Materials and various operational units for Western Digital Corp, one aspect of which was assisting with the start up of a disk drive manufacturing operation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Early in his career, Dan was an industry leader in setting up supply base operations in the Philippines, Thailand, India, and China.

Mr Miller has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Mankato State University, with continuing education at the University of Minnesota Law School and in the Winona State University MBA program.

Dan and his wife, Kathy, live in Bloomington, MN. Their daughter, Melissa, is a student at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
