Retail Channel Account Manager (OmniMount)

Northern EMEA—Germany

Position Summary

The Northern EMEA Retail Channel Account Manager (RCAM) will be the primary Point of Contact for Strategic Target Retailers and other target resellers which may include E-Tailers and A/V focused entities. The RCAM will be responsible for the development, maintenance and enhancement of Omnimounts business relationships within those accounts.

On an on-going basis the RCAM will identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and new target accounts while maintaining Sr. relationships with our existing customers and channel.

Position Responsibilities include:
Achieve net revenue: margin and new business targets in the territory including Germany; Austria; Switzerland; Poland; Hungary and Eastern Europe. Plan and execute a strategy to maintain effective long-term business relationships with target Retailers and Distributor representatives and Senior members of their management. Identify and prioritize opportunities and develop business growth strategies. Develop effective account plans identifying sales ; activity goals ; define/action criticle next steps on an ongoing basis. Work closely with Marketing to create strategy ; craft messages; design POS etc that speak directly to the needs of the accounts and territory. Effectively communicate the Omnimount value proposition and enhance product knowledge & differentiation through sales activities, trainings and other events. Become an expert on its markets; products; competitors and differentiation. Develop proposals, account or market plans, competitive analyses and forecast/report sales activity to win major opportunities; assist in tracking progress and growing market share. Assist accounts in developing and managing a business plan that addresses the incremental growth of revenue and market share. Provide competitor feedback ; participate in new product reviews and launches, and update/maintain customer information. Develop effective internal relationships with the global team. Be a champion for major territory opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications

Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field. Fluent in English; German ; additional Eastern European language skills a plus. 8-10+ years experience calling on and managing relationships with strategic retailers in Germany;Austria and Switzerland; experience in Eastern Europe a plus; experience in this channel with TV's and/ or TV wall mounts & accessories a strong plus. Possesses substantive account knowledge & Senior relationships with target decision makers preferably in the IT or CE sector. Will work out of a Home office and travel in the territory 70% of the time. Proven ability to win, manage and grow large retail accounts ; demonstrated "Hunter" and seasoned business mgr. Strong communication, training and presentation skills, excellent negotiator. High integrity, strong work ethics, committed team player.
