Position Summary
The Account Manager has an overall responsibility for achieving
sales targets in the territory. Actively develops opportunities with key DMR's
and Corporate Resellers and ensures an efficient sales process through the
relevant channels. Identifies new business opportunities and stays in close
contact with sales teams of channel partners to maximize revenue and margin.
Develops and maintains contacts with key end-user accounts to generate and
close project deals. Position Responsibilities include:
- Achieve sales targets and
develop sales into all Ergotron vertical markets (office, healthcare,
finance industry and others).
- Increase sales activity
with existing strategic channel partners (DMR’s, corporate resellers, flat
panel manufacturers) and identify/develop possible new partners.
- Develop end-user opportunities
for and with resellers and ensure successful closure.
- Support reseller sales
force on end-user visits/demo’s in the territory.
- Provide the Sales Manager
with sales progress and achievement reports and input for sales
forecasts.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications - Proven
track record in account management, preferably in an IT environment.
- Knowledge of the IT market
and (corporate) IT resellers.
- Understanding of indirect
sales models and distribution channels.
- Highly self motivated.
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills,
excellent negotiator.
- High integrity, strong work ethics, committed team
player.
