Vice President, Manufacturing & Operations
Jim joined Ergotron in March, 2015 to serve as Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations for Ergotron branded, Ergotron ODM, OmniMount and Anthro business units. Jim brings over 17 years’ of manufacturing, engineering and environmental health and safety experience to his new role, with broad experience with Lean manufacturing, ISO and OSHA regulations and compliance, facilities expansion, management and maintenance, and product line implementations and improvements with a track record for reducing costs and increasing operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Ergotron, Jim was Director of Operations at Donaldson Company Inc., a leading worldwide provider of filtration systems and replacement parts located in Bloomington, MN. He also had a decorated military career that spans over 22 years in the Army (active and reserve), and is a retired Major last having served in the Alabama Army National Guard. He received his Bachelor of Science at Norwich University, the Nation’s oldest private military institution and has also completed partial Masters Coursework in engineering at Pennsylvania State University.
Jim’s business and other affiliations include involvement with the Association of the United States Army, All Saints Church and the United Way. Jim lives in Lakeville, MN, with his wife, Jenn, and three children, Caleb, Jacob, and Taylor. He enjoys watching his kids in various sporting events most of all, but in free time he enjoys outdoor boating on the lake, golfing, and hiking in the summer and snowmobiling, skiing, and skating in the winter.
