Vice President, Ergotron Business Unit
Betty Grogan leads the Americas region of Ergotron’s Commercial Business Unit. As Vice President, Ergotron Commercial-Americas, she is responsible for all of Ergotron’s sales activities in the region in addition to refining growth strategy in new markets and developing business models. Betty joined Ergotron in 2005 and has served as Director, Channel Sales Americas, Director, Central Territory Sales and most recently AVP, Channel Sales. As AVP, Betty lead her team of diversified Channel Account Managers and virtual teammates to exceed growth goals and successfully double annual sales revenue.
Prior to Ergotron, Betty held progressive sales and sales management roles, targeting SMB and Corporate Markets at HP/Compaq Computer Corporation, including National Sales Manager of the Affiliate Program. Here she drove incremental revenue while strategically addressing business critical initiatives like evolving distribution models, and the development of top tier partner relationships and performance.
Betty is an accomplished and energetic, road warrior sales executive with proven sales management experience. Her strengths include building results oriented teams and strategic, trusted customer relationships, leveraging both to exceed mutual revenue goals and objectives. Her professional development includes extensive sales training in addition to Systems Engineer Development training at Wisconsin Bell through MIT, NDSU, Princeton and at Bell Laboratories. More recently, she was named Specialty Product Sales Professional of the Year – Cambridge Who’s Who, participated as a COMPTIA Advancing Women in IT Panelist in 2013, and was the Women in Technology Keynote Speaker at the MD Annual Customer Rally in 2014.
Betty enjoys fun in the sun activities on Bangs Lake in Wauconda, IL, with family and friends, and is currently working on attaining Charter Captain Certification through the American Sailing Association.
