Richard Faber Chief Financial Officer
Richard joined Ergotron in August, 2016, as Chief Financial Officer for Ergotron’s commercial and consumer business units and brands. Richard brings over 20 years of global experience in all facets of the CFO role including planning and development, business partnership, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, treasury and more. He brings an intellectual approach to complex business building, and innovative leadership approach to strategic planning and execution, technology and operational integrations, troubleshooting, and unleashing the strengths of teams.
Prior to joining Ergotron, Richard was CFO of Vision-Ease Lens from 2004 to 2015, successfully orchestrating the sale of the company in September 2014 and continuing to serve as the company’s CFO through July 2015. He also served as the Corporate Controller at BMC Industries Inc. from 2002 to 2004, and before that, in concurrent roles as Managing Director for Carlson Marketing operations in Australia & New Zealand and Chief Financial Officer Asia Pacific for Carlson Companies, a travel, marketing and hospitality enterprise. Richard also worked for 15 years at Cargill, Incorporated, an Agra processing and trading company, in a variety of controller, M&A, strategy and business development positions.
Richard is a CPA and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University. In 2008 he was recognized as the CFO of the Year by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
Richard has served on the board of Directors for the MN Sports Center and is currently on the Board of Directors for St. Therese Living Community.
