David Wardleworth Vice President, Consumer Business Unit
David Wardleworth joined Ergotron in 2005 as Manager of Supply Chain and Purchasing. In this role David was responsible for supply contract negotiations and vendor sourcing, resulting in multi-year cost reduction efforts generating more than $2 million in savings for the organization. David worked extensively from 2006-2009 with the operation in Southern China to establish a global Oracle planning system that worked with the logistical issues at both the factory and global level.
David was promoted to Director, Americas Distribution and Business Operations in 2010, focusing exclusively on our North American distribution business. David is currently responsible for growing and cultivating worldwide relationships with distribution partners for both Ergotron and OmniMount branded product. David’s teams also analyze and drive the organizations forecasting and pricing requirements.
Before joining Ergotron, David worked for the Power Generation group of Cummins Inc., a Fortune 500 corporation that designs, manufactures and distributes engines and related technologies. In his capacity at Cummins, David honed his vendor management and negotiations skills with both domestic and international suppliers.
David attended educational institutions in Australia and United Kingdom and completed his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Minnesota, and his Masters of Business Administration degree at the University of Phoenix.
